Revit Families

Family creation is an important part of a 3D modeling project. A 3D model is created using various 3D objects, such as walls, windows and doors. These 3D objects are called families. Family creation requires expertise and time, so many designers prefer to use existing families that can be downloaded from specialized websites. Design Presentation, for example, has a database for CAD and Revit families.
